THE best of summer
A celebration of the joys of summer (think FLORALS!) on exhibit through the month of June, 2025. The reception on June 14 was terrific, thanks to all who turned out. Also featuring work by Craig Arnold, Caroline Cutrona Hottenstein, Miguel Diaz and Thomas Wharton. Gallery open Wednesdays through Sundays.
“Impressions of the Garden” (32” wide x 40” high framed size, acrylic on paper) is one of my pieces on display at the Byrne Gallery through June, 2025 in the “The Best of Summer” show.
My painting “Trellis” is featured in the window of the Byrne Gallery this month for their Best of Summer show.

Currently, I’ve got one framed piece and five matted pieces at Gallery 75, as well as a few original cards (a new option for me). If you’re in Old Town Alexandria, be sure to head to the Torpedo Factory and visit the Art League Gallery to have a look!
“Strawberries for Tea” is on display at the Art League Gallery’s Gallery 75.
My STUDIO!
Did you miss my open studio on December 7 & 8, 2024? That was a little too close to Christmas for my comfort level, so I’m planning on one in November of 2025. If you can’t wait till then, contact me and we can set a time for you to come on over! Browse through the studio, see how I work and chat with me about all things art and creativity! Use the Contact page here on the website.
See this painting and SO MANY others in my studio!
MAGAZINES
Another way to see my art is in print:
The May, 2020 issue of Artists Magazine profiles my work in acrylic florals and still life.
Cover of the August issue of Watercolor Artist—see page 27 for an article on my work in watercolors!
The August, 2020 Issue of Watercolor Artist covers many aspects of my work in watercolors, in an article titled “Falling Down and Painting Again”. While its main focus is on the impact of my concussion and recovery, it also touches on my “sea-formed” work and my work for sale at “Jane Austen Art” on Zazzle.
